Billy Griff vs Peter Harris

Boxing Daily Report from the Maple Promotion promoted show at Toronto Munro, Toronto,  taking place on 18/12/2040:

Clearly Maple Promotion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy Griff (6 - 17(3) - 3) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Peter Harris(6 - 3 - 1) from Mississauga, Canada.  Both Griff and Harris weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Murray, and the three ringside judges are Louis Brockett, Noel Coulthard and William Grosjean.  

Round 1: 

Harris connects with a cross.  
Harris attempts to land a jab, but Griff blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Harris closes the distance.  Griff connects with a right uppercut.

Harris throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Griff time to recover.
