Corey Rodgerson vs Noah Hannay

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 02/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Corey Rodgerson (43(40) - 5(1)) who hails from Markham, Canada and Noah Hannay(7(6) - 1(1)) from Edmonton, Canada.  Both Rodgerson and Hannay weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Nixon, and the three ringside judges are Arnie Waddey, Chris Waddle and James Pettry.

Hannay closes the distance and walks Rodgerson down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rodgerson senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Rodgerson lands a left hook, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, AND HANNAY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Hannay now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
