Neper Puerta vs Rodrigo Nicolas

Boxing Daily Report from the Sucre Promotions promoted show at Duran Ciprian, Duran,  taking place on 22/12/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neper Puerta (15 - 23(2)) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Rodrigo Nicolas(12 - 15(1) - 4) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Puerta and Nicolas weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jesus Luy, and the three ringside judges are Quico Gaytan, Ryo Barrantes and Rio Garcia.  

Round 1: 

Puerta lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Puerta lands a cross.  
Puerta quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nicolas tries to land a jab, but Puerta sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Puerta sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Nicolas gets on the inside and walks Puerta onto the ropes.  Nicolas digs in a left hook to Puerta's liver.
