Xavion Toribio vs Xavier Vara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Santiago promoted show at Santiago de los Caba Urias, Santiago de los Caballeros,  taking place on 25/12/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Santiago Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavion Toribio (29(10) - 0) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Xavier Vara(5 - 0) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Both Toribio and Vara weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Aristizabal, and the three ringside judges are Juan Dominguez, Baltasar Valladolid and Roman Avendano.  

Round 1: 

Toribio advances into close range.  Toribio sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Toribio lands with a stiff jab.  Toribio attempts to land a right hook, but Vara parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Vara pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Toribio's ribcage.  
Toribio connects with a stinging cross.  
Toribio closes the distance and drives a right hook into Vara's body.  
Toribio hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Toribio is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Vara sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a stinging cross.  
Toribio closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Toribio throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Toribio throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Toribio's body.  
Toribio lands a firm cross.  
Toribio lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Toribio sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vara tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Toribio sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Toribio gets on the inside.  Vara pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a sharp left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
