Goro Higashi vs Ichiro Kono

Boxing Daily Report from the BUSHIDO Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Imada, Sapporo,  taking place on 26/12/2040:

Clearly BUSHIDO Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goro Higashi (5 - 6 - 4) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Ichiro Kono(11 - 3 - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Higashi and Kono weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Minami, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Kawai, Eiji Aoki and Satoshi Nishikawa.  

Round 1: 

Higashi steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Kono in a neutral corner.  Higashi lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Higashi feints a left hook, and then hits home with a cross.
