Odion Akanji vs Faisal Akhter

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbeki Promotions promoted show at Umuahia Basha, Umuahia,  taking place on 31/12/2040:

Clearly Mbeki Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Abia State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Odion Akanji (13 - 10(2) - 1) who hails from Aba, Nigeria and Faisal Akhter(7 - 10(1) - 1) from Aba, Nigeria.  Akanji weighed in at 168 pounds, while Akhter weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ali Sharaf, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Kabir, Bature Adelakun and Lukman Shuaib.  

Round 1:
