Alexandre Cendrars vs Thibaud Perse

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Sylvain Bugul Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 18/12/2040:

Clearly Danquah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Alexandre Cendrars (5(1) - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Thibaud Perse(11 - 7 - 2) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Cendrars and Perse weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thibaud Ly, and the three ringside judges are Boyce Perec, Landry de la Bretonne and Acelin Badji.  

Round 1: 

Cendrars is looking to close the distance.  Cendrars pivots from in front of his opponent.  Perse throws a left hook, but Cendrars ties up his opponent.  Cendrars leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Cendrars pushes his forearm into Perse's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cendrars lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Cendrars holds on to his opponent.  Cendrars is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cendrars is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cendrars digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Cendrars gets on the inside and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  Cendrars holds on to his opponent.  Cendrars pushes his forearm into Perse's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cendrars.  
Cendrars advances into close range.  Cendrars pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cendrars drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Cendrars clinches his opponent.  Cendrars leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cendrars lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Cendrars attempts to land a left hook, but Perse slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cendrars is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Cendrars lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Cendrars drives a right uppercut into Perse's body.  
Cendrars gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cendrars pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cendrars advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Perse quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Cendrars steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Cendrars lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Cendrars is looking to close the distance.  Cendrars hits home with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Perse dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Perse steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Cendrars dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cendrars closes the distance and is on target with a powerful right hook to Perse's body.  PERSE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.

Cendrars is looking to close the distance and drives a forceful left uppercut into Perse's body.  PERSE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Cendrars senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Cendrars lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS PERSE TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Cendrars crashes a big left uppercut to his opponents body.  PERSE IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Cendrars advances into close range.  Cendrars lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS PERSE DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Cendrars!
