Eduardo Alejos vs Angel Lucido

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Asuncion Tierno, Asuncion,  taking place on 03/01/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Paraguay-Asuncion Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eduardo Alejos (19(13) - 2(2)) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Angel Lucido(20 - 9(2)) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Alejos weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces, while Lucido weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Olavarria, and the three ringside judges are Fanuco Mandes, Agapetus Donoso and Loredo Machado.  

Round 1:

Lucido is looking to keep his distance.  Alejos waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Lucido attempts to land a cross, but Alejos blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Alejos gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Alejos clinches his opponent.  Alejos pushes his forearm into Lucido's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Alejos is on target with a right hook.  
Alejos connects with a firm right uppercut.  Alejos holds on to his opponent.  Lucido tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Alejos's kidney. 
Alejos walks Lucido into a neutral corner.  Alejos drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.

Alejos feints a cross, and then lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lucido recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Alejos closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lucido steps away from his opponent and tries to land an overhand right, but Alejos parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Alejos steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Alejos advances into close range.  Lucido throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Alejos digs in a left hook to Lucido's liver.  
Alejos hits home with a hard jab.  
Lucido tries to step out of his opponents range.  Alejos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Alejos gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Alejos lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Lucido steps away from his opponent.  Alejos sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Alejos lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND LUCIDO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Lucido now seems to have his senses back.  
Alejos steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Alejos forces Lucido to retreat into a corner.  Lucido throws a left hook, but Alejos ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Alejos pushes his forearm into Lucido's face.  The ref breaks Alejos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Alejos digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Alejos lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Alejos is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Alejos lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Alejos gets on the inside.  Lucido attempts to land a left hook, but Alejos parries the shot and counters with a BRUTAL right hook.  LUCIDO IS HURT!  Lucido quickly recovers. 
Alejos lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Alejos steps inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Alejos lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Alejos lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Alejos steps inside and forces Lucido to back into a neutral corner.  Alejos is on target with a right uppercut.  
Alejos advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Alejos holds on to his opponent.  Alejos pushes his forearm into Lucido's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Alejos is looking to force the stoppage!  Alejos connects with a CRUSHING right uppercut.  LUCIDO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Lucido has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Alejos gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Alejos clinches his opponent.  Alejos leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Alejos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
