Billy Mortimer vs Arran Marean

Boxing Daily Report from the Brock promoted show at RJM Des Moines, Des Moines,  taking place on 06/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy Mortimer (23 - 16(8) - 4) who hails from Wichita, USA and Arran Marean(32(13) - 4(2)) from Des Moines, USA.  Mortimer weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces, while Marean weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vince Caven, and the three ringside judges are Colin Dickins, Dave Weatherhead and Isaac Levingston.  

Round 1:

Marean forces Mortimer to back into the ropes.  Marean lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MORTIMER DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Mortimer is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Marean!
