Michael Peters vs Dom Lenney

Boxing Daily Report from the YOUNG RICH promoted show at St. Petersburg Cant, St. Petersburg,  taking place on 06/01/2041:

Clearly YOUNG RICH have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Florida Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Peters (12 - 14 - 4) who hails from Coral Springs, USA and Dom Lenney(23 - 18(2) - 5) from Tallahassee, USA.  Peters weighed in at 114 pounds And 10 ounces, while Lenney weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Owens, and the three ringside judges are Mark Swain, Ian Hossack and Cody Bremner.  

Round 1: 

Peters gets on the inside.  Peters pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Lenney attempts to land a cross, but Peters dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lenney dabs at his face checking for damage.  Lenney has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
