Fumio Adachi vs Jun Akagi

Boxing Daily Report from the Soweto Punch Pros promoted show at Mizuho Athletic Stadium, Nagoya,  taking place on 03/02/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fumio Adachi (8(2) - 0) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Jun Akagi(12 - 8(1) - 2) from Kobe, Japan.  Adachi weighed in at 104 pounds And 13 ounces, while Akagi weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Sando, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Mochizuki, Raiden Shimamoto and Raiden Matsui.  

Round 1: 

Adachi is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Adachi holds on to his opponent.  Adachi pushes his forearm into Akagi's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Akagi steps to the outside.  Adachi senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Adachi whips in a nasty left uppercut to Akagi's body.  AKAGI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Adachi drives a forceful right uppercut into Akagi's body.  AKAGI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Akagi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
