Jay Boakye vs Paul Livingston

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 29/12/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jay Boakye (1(1) - 0) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Paul Livingston(4 - 0) from Melbourne, Australia.  Boakye weighed in at 108 pounds, while Livingston weighed in at 107 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil McAllaster, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Duffy, Charlie Cacciari and Robert Lesslie.  

Round 1: 

Boakye is on target with a cross.  
Boakye finds the target with a jab.  
Livingston gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Boakye attempts to land a left hook, but Livingston blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Boakye is on target with a left uppercut to Livingston's body.  
Boakye steps to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Livingston steps inside.  Boakye lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Boakye is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Boakye steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Livingston steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Boakye dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Livingston digs in a right hook to Boakye's ribs.  Livingston throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a FEROCIOUS right uppercut.  LIVINGSTON IS HURT!  
Boakye steps to the outside.  Boakye is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Boakye lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS LIVINGSTON!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Boakye lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut, right hook and a cross to his opponents head.  Livingston now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Livingston walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Livingston drives a left hook into Boakye's body.  
Livingston is looking to close the distance.  Boakye tries to land a left hook, but Livingston dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Boakye switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Livingston advances into close range and manouvers Boakye into the red corner.  Boakye drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Boakye steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Livingston gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Boakye ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Boakye pushes his forearm into Livingston's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Boakye to stop fouling.  
Boakye lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Boakye tries to land a left hook, but Livingston parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Livingston steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Boakye clinches his opponent.  Boakye is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Boakye connects with a firm right hook.

Livingston hits home with a cross.  
Boakye is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a solid cross.  
Livingston is looking to close the distance.  Boakye digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Boakye ties up his opponent.  Livingston is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Livingston about fouling.  
Boakye switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Livingston tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Boakye steps away from his opponent.  Livingston lands a jab.  
Livingston closes the distance.  Boakye is on target with a stinging left hook to Livingston's body.  LIVINGSTON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Boakye is looking to keep his distance.  Boakye senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Boakye lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND LIVINGSTON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Livingston now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Livingston steps inside.  Boakye pivots to the left of his opponent.  Boakye attempts to land a left hook, but Livingston blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Boakye lands a MASSIVE overhand left.  IT LOOKS LIKE LIVINGSTON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Livingston gets on the inside and walks Boakye down, trapping him on the ropes.  Livingston could be stopped here, if Boakye can find the right shot!  Boakye lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND LIVINGSTON IS DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Boakye!
