Bryan Stater vs Aaron Murchie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guyana-North promoted show at Georgetown Cloyd, Georgetown,  taking place on 17/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Guyana Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bryan Stater (8(5) - 3) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Aaron Murchie(5 - 3) from New Amsterdam, Guyana.  Both Stater and Murchie weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Sprouse, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Shone, Malcolm Algeo and Ollie Reidhead.  

Round 1: 

Stater feints a left hook, and then attempts to land an overhand right, but Murchie blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Stater gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Stater ties up his opponent.  Murchie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Stater pushes his forearm into Murchie's face.  The referee warns Stater and breaks the clinch.
