Haaris Badie vs Aftab Damji

Boxing Daily Report from the Mayat Promotions promoted show at Jeddah Alsamarrai, Jeddah,  taking place on 18/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Saudi TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haaris Badie (7 - 7 - 3) who hails from Mecca, Saudi Arabia and Aftab Damji(19 - 3(2) - 1) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  Badie weighed in at 140 pounds, while Damji weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Rushdi, and the three ringside judges are Atif Zaidi, Shayan Akkad and Asif Betro.  

Round 1: 

Damji steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Damji lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Damji gets on the inside.  Damji pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Damji is looking to close the distance.  Badie attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Damji to the neutral corner.  He tells Badie he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Damji quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Damji advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.
