Jay Lagos vs Dave Wyly

Boxing Daily Report from the Aussie Boxing Academy promoted show at Jonathan Goudy Gym, Geelong,  taking place on 18/01/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Lagos (3 - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Dave Wyly(2 - 4 - 5) from Melbourne, Australia.  Lagos weighed in at 135 pounds And 13 ounces, while Wyly weighed in at 134 pounds And 10 ounces.    As Lagos came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Savas, and the three ringside judges are John Kellison, Jamie Gamerikyan and Owen MacCallum.  

Round 1: 

Lagos lands a right hook.  
Lagos sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wyly is on target with a left hook.  Wyly throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lagos lands a cross.  
Wyly gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Wyly pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lagos digs in a right hook to Wyly's ribcage.  
Wyly drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Lagos steps to the outside.  Lagos feints a cross, and then hits home with an overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lagos's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Lagos's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Lagos tries to keep the action at long range.  Wyly lands a cross.  
Wyly steps inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Lagos sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Wyly's body.
