Sam Neil vs John Pentland

Boxing Daily Report from the Mainza Promotions promoted show at Pullman Lodge Hotel, Sunderland,  taking place on 21/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Northern England Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Neil (20(13) - 1(1)) who hails from Leeds, UK and John Pentland(15(1) - 4(2)) from Wakefield, UK.  Both Neil and Pentland weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andy Creech, and the three ringside judges are Neil McClimans, Glynn James and Rob Apted.  

Round 1:

Neil is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Pentland pushes his forearm into Neil's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Pentland uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Neil behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pentland is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Neil holds on to his opponent.  Pentland leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Neil tries to step out of his opponents range.  Neil sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with an overhand right.

Neil is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a forceful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE PENTLAND WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Pentland almost instantly gets his legs back.

Pentland throws a left uppercut, but Neil holds on to his opponent.  Neil leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Neil tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pentland's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Neil steps away from his opponent and lands a cross, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Pentland throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Neil tries to keep the action at long range and lands a MASSIVE cross.  PENTLAND IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.
