Jiro Sugawara vs Kei Maeda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kobe Kawata, Kobe,  taking place on 28/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jiro Sugawara (3 - 37(3) - 1) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Kei Maeda(16 - 9(2) - 3) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Sugawara and Maeda weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Sakamoto, and the three ringside judges are Michi Soma, Hiro Seno and Ryuu Aoki.  

Round 1: 

Maeda steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Sugawara tries to tag Maeda on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Sugawara connects with a right hook.
