Mark Mvurya vs Rob Kimobwa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Amon Akaranga Gym, Kangundo-Tala,  taking place on 28/01/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Machakos Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Mvurya (8 - 16(5) - 4) who hails from Machakos, Kenya and Rob Kimobwa(18(11) - 6(1) - 2) from Machakos, Kenya.  Both Mvurya and Kimobwa weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vashon Magut, and the three ringside judges are Imran Rahman, Hugh Wanja and Ian Kahiu.  

Round 1: 

Mvurya tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Kimobwa steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mvurya throws a left hook, but Kimobwa clinches his opponent.  Kimobwa pushes his forearm into Mvurya's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kimobwa to stop fouling.  
Kimobwa feints a left hook, and then hits home with a sharp cross.  
Kimobwa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mvurya digs in a right hook to Kimobwa's body.  Kimobwa clinches his opponent.  Kimobwa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Kimobwa uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Mvurya's kidney. The referee warns Kimobwa and breaks the clinch.  
Kimobwa drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Kimobwa drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Mvurya gets on the inside.  Mvurya attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Kimobwa to the neutral corner.  He tells Mvurya he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Kimobwa lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kimobwa gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kimobwa drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Kimobwa closes the distance.  Mvurya digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kimobwa hits home with a firm left hook.  
Kimobwa drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Kimobwa lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mvurya quickly recovers. 
Mvurya is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Kimobwa tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Mvurya advances into close range.  Kimobwa is on target with a solid left hook.  Kimobwa ties up his opponent.  Kimobwa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mvurya behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kimobwa to stop fouling.  
Kimobwa digs in a stinging right uppercut to Mvurya's ribs.  
Kimobwa is on target with a left hook to Mvurya's body.  
Kimobwa connects with a right hook.  Kimobwa holds on to his opponent.  Kimobwa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kimobwa lands a solid left hook.  
Mvurya tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kimobwa connects with a cross.  
Kimobwa steps inside and drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Kimobwa lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kimobwa lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Kimobwa lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kimobwa holds on to his opponent.  Kimobwa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  Mvurya recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Kimobwa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mvurya throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Kimobwa time to recover.

Kimobwa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to Mvurya's liver.  
Kimobwa drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Kimobwa is on target with a firm right uppercut.
