Jordan Muigai vs Robert Menjo

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Haaris Haque Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/01/2041:

Clearly Konga Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jordan Muigai (5 - 5 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Robert Menjo(5 - 21(1) - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Muigai weighed in at 114 pounds and 6 ounces, while Menjo weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Armani Kipchoim, and the three ringside judges are Manu Yator, Chris Birir and Joe Mwirichia.  

Round 1: 

Muigai voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Menjo steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Menjo steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Muigai slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Menjo is looking to close the distance.  Muigai digs in a left hook to Menjo's body.  Muigai attempts to land a right hook, but Menjo blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Muigai hits home with a right hook.  Muigai tries to land a right hook, but Menjo slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Muigai's ribs.  
Muigai is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but Menjo slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Menjo gets on the inside.  Menjo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Muigai is on target with a right hook to Menjo's body.

Menjo gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Menjo has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Menjo is looking to close the distance.  Muigai throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Menjo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
