Michael McCowan vs David Garey

Boxing Daily Report from the Bank$ Promotions promoted show at Roxy Bamboo Bar, Philadelphia,  taking place on 14/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Michael McCowan (9 - 0) who hails from Cambridge, UK and David Garey(29 - 14(2) - 5) from Tucson, USA.  Both McCowan and Garey weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Grierson, and the three ringside judges are John Garrett, Patrick Nolette and Ricky Power.  

Round 1: 

McCowan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  McCowan ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McCowan pushes his forearm into Garey's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
