Hugh Kirkland vs Michael Clough

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Boxing Council promoted show at Brisbane Dowie, Brisbane,  taking place on 30/01/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hugh Kirkland (13(1) - 2(2)) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Michael Clough(20(10) - 5 - 2) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Kirkland weighed in at 175 pounds, while Clough weighed in at 175 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Clough came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Mark Taggert, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Duffy, Scott Martin and Charlie Cacciari.
