Joaquin Arguijo vs Ponce Picon

Boxing Daily Report from the Kayo Promotions promoted show at Multiforum Centro de Espectaculos, Juarez,  taking place on 11/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Arguijo (7 - 0) who hails from Chipancingo, Mexico and Ponce Picon(2 - 13 - 3) from Chihuahua, Mexico.  Arguijo weighed in at 226 pounds and 14 ounces, while Picon weighed in at 230 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jose Espina, and the three ringside judges are Angel Morales, Malvolio Pantano and Carlos Mayorga.  

Round 1:

Arguijo gets on the inside.  Picon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Arguijo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Picon.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.

Picon steps inside.  Arguijo lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Picon tries to land a left hook, but Arguijo slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Arguijo lands a hard jab.  
Picon steps inside.  Arguijo lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
You can sense the frustration from Picon now.   He advances forward with head down and it catches Arguijo in the face!  The ref separates the two fighters and tells Picon to watch his head.  He gives Arguijo a few minutes to recover.  
Arguijo is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Picon is desperate to make more of an impact on his opponent.   He pushes his head into Arguijo's face...that looked intentional!  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  The ref halts the action and sends Arguijo to the neutral corner.    He tells Picon to stop fouling or face a points deduction.  
Arguijo lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.

Frustration is reaching boiling point for Picon now.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed well below the belt! The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care!
