Dayaram Wali vs John Mulligan

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Brentwood Centre, London,  taking place on 19/01/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dayaram Wali (1(1) - 0) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and John Mulligan(9 - 3 - 4) from Coventry, UK.  Both Wali and Mulligan weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dominic Ready, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Buckley, Will Walker and Arthur Dawes.  

Round 1: 

Mulligan tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Wali slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.

Wali digs in a left uppercut to Mulligan's body.  Wali clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Wali pushes his forearm into Mulligan's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wali forces Mulligan to retreat into a neutral corner.  Wali wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mulligan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mulligan steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Wali is on target with a right hook to Mulligan's body.  Wali ties up his opponent.  Wali is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wali about fouling.

Wali lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wali forces Mulligan to back into a corner.  Wali lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wali lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Wali clinches his opponent.  Wali leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Mulligan tries to land a jab, but Wali sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Wali advances into close range and lands a firm left hook.  
Wali is on target with a left hook to Mulligan's liver.  
Wali lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wali closes the distance and lands a stinging left hook.  
Wali lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mulligan has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
