Chris Beddow vs Richard Matura

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff,  taking place on 02/03/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Beddow (47(36) - 3) who hails from Waterford, Ireland and Richard The Mighty Matura(26(17) - 8(6)) from Bratislava, Slovakia.  Beddow weighed in at 235 pounds and 15 ounces, while Matura weighed in at 227 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Birney, and the three ringside judges are Mark MacNevin, Dale Carrick and Clinton Birney.  

Round 1: 

Beddow advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Matura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Matura almost instantly gets his legs back.

Beddow advances into close range.  Matura pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Beddow closes the distance.  Beddow sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Matura attempts to land a right uppercut, but Beddow blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
