Marlen Kovalik vs Alik Ostrovsky

Boxing Daily Report from the Shongwe Promotions promoted show at Sergei Dorosh Gym, Perm,  taking place on 28/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Perm Krai Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marlen Kovalik (8 - 13(1) - 3) who hails from Perm, Russia and Alik Ostrovsky(23(3) - 9(4)) from Berezniki, Russia.  Both Kovalik and Ostrovsky weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sergei Anyukov, and the three ringside judges are Georgiy Yesheyev, Borya Lukyanov and Pyotr Makeyev.  

Round 1: 

Ostrovsky closes the distance and connects with a right uppercut.
