Hugh Berwick vs Thomas McVean

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Lancashire CCC, Manchester,  taking place on 25/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are The Pride of Bury Hugh Berwick (2(1) - 0) who hails from Bury, UK and Thomas McVean(7 - 5 - 2) from Londonderry, UK.  Both Berwick and McVean weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iain Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Apted, Hassan Hassan and Robert Dempster.  

Round 1: 

Berwick advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Berwick hits home with a firm cross.

Berwick throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Berwick clinches his opponent.  Berwick tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McVean behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Berwick about fouling.

Berwick lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Berwick gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.

Berwick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

McVean's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  McVean's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Berwick lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McVean dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Berwick walks McVean down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Berwick lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Berwick pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Berwick stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Berwick lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS MCVEAN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like McVean has now recovered from that shot earlier.
