Luigino Palagi vs Silvestro Goracci

Boxing Daily Report from the Maxi's Bruts promoted show at Angelo Santella Gym, Rome,  taking place on 09/02/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Lazio Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luigino Palagi (9 - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Rome, Italy and Silvestro Goracci(7 - 8(1) - 2) from Rome, Italy.  Both Palagi and Goracci weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luigino Vincenzi, and the three ringside judges are Gianluigi Carossino, Colombo Ferrante and Adriano Picciano.  

Round 1: 

Palagi is looking to close the distance.  Palagi steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Goracci tries to tag Palagi on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Goracci attempts to land a jab, but Palagi slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Goracci.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
