Phil Whitton vs Phil Bevans

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Kieran Smolak Gym, Joliet,  taking place on 07/02/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Phil Whitton (12 - 17(3) - 6) who hails from Chicago, USA and Phil Bevans(20(1) - 16(8) - 1) from Joliet, USA.  Both Whitton and Bevans weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Graham, and the three ringside judges are Sam Touch, David Ridall and Lewis Williams.
