Rehman Awon vs Bilal Mallouk

Boxing Daily Report from the Katurole Promotions promoted show at Sana'a Sabir, Sana'a,  taking place on 08/02/2041:

Clearly Katurole Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Sana'a Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehman Awon (13 - 19(1) - 3) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Bilal Mallouk(5 - 12 - 5) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Awon weighed in at 168 pounds And 10 ounces, while Mallouk weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Awon came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Khalaf, and the three ringside judges are Azam Boulos, Shayan Nassar and Asif Assaf.  

Round 1: 

Mallouk lands a jab.

Awon is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Awon holds on to his opponent.  Mallouk is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Awon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Awon advances into close range.  Awon is on target with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Awon dabs at his face checking for damage.
