Neron Apostol vs Aimon Cortina

Boxing Daily Report from the Carl Srothlon promoted show at Ecuador-Azuay Gym, Cuenco,  taking place on 09/02/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Neron Apostol (26(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Aimon Cortina(31(1) - 18(16)) from Cuenco, Ecuador.  Apostol weighed in at 140 pounds and 10 ounces, while Cortina weighed in at 140 pounds.    As Apostol came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Siman, and the three ringside judges are Sierra Lopez, Joaquin Magan and Baltasar Ozuna.
