Jarmil Sladek vs Zbynek Kovanda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Czech Republic-South Moravian promoted show at Czechia Gym, Brno,  taking place on 16/02/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Digi Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jarmil Sladek (9(7) - 2(1)) who hails from Plzen, Czech Republic and Zbynek Kovanda(19 - 12(4) - 4) from Brno, Czech Republic.  Sladek weighed in at 223 pounds And 3 ounces, while Kovanda weighed in at 228 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bla×ej Pavlica, and the three ringside judges are Gabriel Kot, RadomÝr Sklenar and Boleslav Formanek.  

Round 1: 

Sladek connects with a cross.  
Sladek gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sladek ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sladek pushes his forearm into Kovanda's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Kovanda quickly recovers. 
Sladek gets on the inside.  Kovanda pivots to the left of his opponent.  Sladek drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Sladek is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sladek digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sladek lands a cross to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kovanda finds the target with a jab.  
Sladek closes the distance and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Sladek closes the distance.  Kovanda throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Sladek ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sladek pushes his forearm into Kovanda's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sladek to stop fouling.  
Sladek gets on the inside and forces Kovanda to back into the blue corner.  Sladek hits home with a right uppercut.  
Sladek lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sladek lands a telling left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KOVANDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Sladek ties up his opponent.  Sladek leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Kovanda recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Sladek steps inside and walks Kovanda down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sladek sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sladek lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Sladek holds on to his opponent.  Sladek leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Sladek's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sladek is on target with a solid left uppercut to Kovanda's ribs.  
Sladek quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Kovanda's body.  
Sladek drives a left hook into Kovanda's body.  
Kovanda throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Sladek closes the distance and drives a solid left hook into Kovanda's body.  
Sladek lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kovanda pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sladek lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Sladek ties up his opponent.  Sladek is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sladek forces Kovanda to back into a neutral corner.  Sladek lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Sladek could be enough to force the stoppage!  Sladek lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES KOVANDA!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Kovanda has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kovanda's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kovanda's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Sladek lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS KOVANDA!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Sladek lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Sladek could be enough to finish Kovanda!  Sladek lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS KOVANDA!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Sladek!
