Pernell Carol vs Hacke Van Eekele

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Belgium-Capital Region promoted show at Le Botanique, Brussels,  taking place on 10/02/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport10, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pernell Carol (19(14) - 0) who hails from Anderlecht, Belgium and Hacke Van Eekele(24(4) - 7(3)) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Both Carol and Van Eekele weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Varden Aragon, and the three ringside judges are Saber de Lisle, Forrest Marques and Alain Jobert.  

Round 1: 

Carol closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS VAN EEKELE!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Van Eekele recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Van Eekele is on target with a cross.  Van Eekele attempts to land a jab, but Carol sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Carol is looking to close the distance.  Carol sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a sharp right uppercut to Van Eekele's ribs.  
Carol lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Van Eekele tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Carol gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carol closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Van Eekele steps to the outside and lands with a solid jab.  
Carol advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Carol gets on the inside and walks Van Eekele onto the ropes.  Carol stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Carol is on target with a potent right uppercut to Van Eekele's ribcage.  DOWN GOES VAN EEKELE!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Van Eekele now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Carol tries to step out of his opponents range.  Van Eekele hits the target with a solid jab.
