Evgeny Rags vs Malte Hagge

Boxing Daily Report from the Run Forficula promoted show at Gothenburg Gran, Gothenburg,  taking place on 24/01/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Evgeny Rags (1 - 0) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Malte Hagge(0 - 0) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Rags and Hagge weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lucas Sando, and the three ringside judges are Casper Carby, Ivar Wallen and David Landeen.  

Round 1: 

Hagge advances into close range.  Hagge quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hagge gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hagge dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Hagge.  That has caused swelling  around the right eye.  
Hagge lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hagge advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Rags connects with a cross.  
Hagge closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Hagge clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hagge pushes his forearm into Rags's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hagge about fouling.  
Rags tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with an overhand left.  
Hagge lands a left hook.  
Hagge lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hagge is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Rags steps to the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Hagge gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Rags steps inside.  Hagge sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hagge drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Hagge throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rags digs in a left uppercut to Hagge's body.  
Rags switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Hagge sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rags throws a left uppercut, but Hagge holds on to his opponent.  Hagge uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Rags behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hagge gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Hagge sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rags throws a left hook, but Hagge holds on to his opponent.  Hagge is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Hagge and breaks the clinch.  
Hagge sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hagge tries to land a left hook, but Rags blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hagge lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hagge gets on the inside and hits home with a left uppercut.

Rags steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.

Rags is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand right.  
Rags advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Hagge gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hagge gets on the inside.  Rags throws a right hook, but Hagge clinches his opponent.  Hagge leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Rags pushes his forearm into Hagge's face.  The referee warns Rags and breaks the clinch.  
Rags attempts to land a left hook, but Hagge blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hagge lands a right hook.  
Rags tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Rags is on target with an overhand right.

Hagge gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Rags's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
