Eiji Higuchi vs Hideki Matsuno

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Toyonaka Murayama, Toyonaka,  taking place on 12/02/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eiji Higuchi (18 - 8(1) - 4) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Hideki Matsuno(11 - 1 - 1) from Hirakata, Japan.  Higuchi weighed in at 103 pounds and 14 ounces, while Matsuno weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Goro Tsuchida, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Matsunaga, Eiji Sakata and Kei Ueda.  

Round 1: 

Matsuno advances into close range.  Higuchi throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to Higuchi's liver.
