Kyland Piel vs Walfrid Ahlborn

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at IFCO Arena, Berlin,  taking place on 06/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Germany Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ARD, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kyland Piel (36(32) - 6(3) - 1) who hails from Lubeck, Germany and Walfrid Ahlborn(4 - 18 - 1) from Frankfurt, Germany.  Piel weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces, while Ahlborn weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ellard Helmke, and the three ringside judges are Dearg Ahrens, Alberto Sarauer and Barny Gilb.  

Round 1: 

Piel steps inside.  Ahlborn sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ahlborn throws a left hook, but Piel ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Piel pushes his forearm into Ahlborn's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Piel about fouling.  
Ahlborn feints a cross, and then lands a jab.  
Piel closes the distance.  Ahlborn throws a left hook, but Piel clinches his opponent.  Piel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Piel lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Piel holds on to his opponent.  Piel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Piel is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Piel lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Piel closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ahlborn recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Piel is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Piel sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Ahlborn is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Piel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Piel is looking to close the distance and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Ahlborn steps to the outside.  Piel lands an overhand right.  
Piel closes the distance and hits home with a solid left hook.  Piel clinches his opponent.  Piel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Piel.  
Piel walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Piel lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Piel lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Piel clinches his opponent.  Piel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Piel lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Piel ties up his opponent.  Piel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Piel lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Piel lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Piel connects with a CRUSHING right hook.  AHLBORN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Ahlborn quickly recovers. 
Piel lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Piel is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Piel lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS AHLBORN TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Piel!
