Michael Chindungwe vs Leon Walsh

Boxing Daily Report from the Matchroom promoted show at Henry Flett Gym, Leicester,  taking place on 01/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Michael Touch of Death Chindungwe (7(2) - 0) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Leon Walsh(17 - 20(3) - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Chindungwe and Walsh weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Wathen, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Beattie, Harry Seward and Hassan Hassan.  

Round 1: 

Walsh advances into close range.  Chindungwe lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Walsh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Chindungwe tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Chindungwe is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a firm cross.  
Chindungwe feints a cross, and then throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Chindungwe lands with a solid jab.  
Walsh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chindungwe is on target with a jab.  
Walsh manouvers Chindungwe into the red corner.  Walsh pivots from in front of his opponent.  Chindungwe is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Chindungwe is on target with a jab.  
Chindungwe tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Chindungwe lands a sharp cross.  
Chindungwe is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Walsh pivots to the side of his opponent.  Walsh tries to land a jab, but Chindungwe slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Walsh closes the distance.  Chindungwe connects with a left hook.  
Chindungwe pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a solid cross.  
Chindungwe drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Chindungwe lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Chindungwe feints a left hook, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Chindungwe lands a MASSIVE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE WALSH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Walsh quickly recovers. 
Walsh walks Chindungwe down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Chindungwe digs in a right hook to Walsh's body.  
Chindungwe lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Walsh lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Chindungwe lands a firm cross.  
Chindungwe tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Chindungwe lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a jab to the body.  
Chindungwe lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.

Chindungwe switches the action to the outside and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Walsh steps inside and manouvers Chindungwe into a corner.  Chindungwe is on target with a firm left uppercut to Walsh's body.  Chindungwe tries to land a right hook, but Walsh sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Chindungwe lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Chindungwe lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Chindungwe lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents body.  
Chindungwe steps to the outside and lands two overhand rights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Chindungwe lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Walsh recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Chindungwe is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND KNOCKS WALSH DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.

Walsh closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Chindungwe ties up his opponent.  Chindungwe pushes his forearm into Walsh's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chindungwe.

Chindungwe connects with a stinging cross.  
Chindungwe tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Chindungwe lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Walsh gets on the inside.  Chindungwe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chindungwe is on target with a BRUTAL left hook.  WALSH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Chindungwe attempts to land a right hook, but Walsh sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Chindungwe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Chindungwe stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Chindungwe DETONATES a FEROCIOUS right uppercut on his opponents face.  WALSH IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Walsh now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Chindungwe lands two jab's to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Walsh almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Chindungwe is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand right.
