Ovidio Cobos vs Juan Mino

Boxing Daily Report from the Greedy Promotions promoted show at Raven Gym, Macon,  taking place on 08/03/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ovidio Cobos (3 - 0) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Juan Mino(21 - 16(2) - 6 - 1(NC)) from Arlington, USA.  Both Cobos and Mino weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Lou, and the three ringside judges are Edward Brand, Fraser Walker and Jacob Quigley.  

Round 1: 

Cobos steps inside.  Cobos pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cobos hits home with a solid left hook.  Cobos holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cobos pushes his forearm into Mino's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Cobos tries to land a left hook, but Mino sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cobos is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Cobos holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cobos pushes his forearm into Mino's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cobos lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Cobos wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mino dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Cobos tries to keep the action at long range.  Mino sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mino throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Cobos closes the distance.  Cobos pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cobos throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Cobos clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cobos manages to force Mino onto the ropes.  Mino is on target with a left uppercut.  Mino attempts to land a left hook, but Cobos parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cobos pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.  
Cobos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Cobos gets on the inside.  Cobos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mino throws a left hook, but Cobos holds on to his opponent.  Mino hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Mino feints a cross, but Cobos does not fall for it and lands with a firm right uppercut.  
Cobos steps inside.  Mino pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cobos connects with a left hook.  
Mino sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cobos tries to land a jab, but Mino slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mino is on target with a cross.  
Cobos lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Mino connects with a cross.  
Mino pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cobos attempts to land a jab, but Mino blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cobos advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Cobos feints a cross, tricking Mino into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Cobos springs the trap and counters with  a stinging right hook.  
Cobos steps inside.  Cobos pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cobos is looking to close the distance.  Mino pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cobos lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cobos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cobos pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cobos sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cobos tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cobos is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Cobos pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cobos throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cobos steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mino recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mino steps to the outside.  Cobos lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Cobos attempts to land a cross, but Mino blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cobos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Cobos lands a left hook.  
Cobos lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Cobos clinches his opponent.  Mino is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mino pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cobos strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Mino is looking to keep his distance.  Cobos lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cobos steps inside.  Mino lands a right hook.  
Cobos closes the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.

Cobos pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cobos pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Cobos pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Cobos lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Cobos is looking to close the distance and is on target with a WICKED right hook.  Cobos clinches his opponent.  Cobos leans on his opponent using all his weight. Cobos tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mino behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cobos to stop holding.  
Mino now seems to have his senses back.  
Cobos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cobos attempts to land a jab, but Mino slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Cobos steps inside and connects with a left hook.  Cobos throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Cobos walks Mino down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cobos lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Cobos gets on the inside.  Mino tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Cobos lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cobos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mino lands a cross.  
Mino pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Cobos closes the distance.  Mino attempts to land a left hook, but Cobos slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Mino now seems to have his senses back.

Cobos steps inside and manages to force Mino onto the ropes.  Cobos lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mino almost instantly recovers. 
Cobos pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Cobos hits home with a firm left hook.  
At the end of Round 4, lets listen in on the corners...Cobos's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Mino's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Cobos pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.
