Rex Hughes vs William Anderson

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Plunder Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 11/02/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rex Hughes (3 - 0) who hails from London, UK and William Anderson(5 - 6 - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Hughes weighed in at 252 pounds And 7 ounces, while Anderson weighed in at 232 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter MacLaughlin, and the three ringside judges are David McClarnon, Peter MacLaughlin and Peter McWethy.  

Round 1: 

Hughes lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Hughes clinches his opponent.  Anderson tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hughes behind the head. The ref breaks Hughes's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Hughes is on target with a right hook to Anderson's body.  Hughes throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hughes lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Anderson throws a right hook, but Hughes ties up his opponent.  Hughes pushes his forearm into Anderson's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hughes about fouling.
