Goro Miura vs Aki Sanda

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Shibata, Tokyo,  taking place on 25/02/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goro Miura (13 - 6 - 4) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Aki Sanda(3(2) - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.  Miura weighed in at 104 pounds And 13 ounces, while Sanda weighed in at 104 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dai Ishikawa, and the three ringside judges are Kazuki Miyashiro, Isamu Shibuya and Kaede Toyama.  

Round 1: 

Sanda is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Sanda holds on to his opponent.  Sanda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sanda.  
Sanda is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Sanda is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Sanda holds on to his opponent.  Sanda leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Sanda manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Sanda connects with a left uppercut.  
Sanda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sanda lands a sharp right hook.  Sanda holds on to his opponent.  Sanda pushes his forearm into Miura's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sanda to stop fouling.  
Sanda lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Sanda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Sanda is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Sanda digs in a stinging left uppercut to Miura's ribs.

Sanda lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sanda dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sanda cuts off the ring, trapping Miura in the corner.  Sanda lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Sanda ties up his opponent.  Sanda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Sanda to stop holding.  
Sanda lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Sanda lands a sharp right hook.  
Miura steps away from his opponent.  Sanda is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Miura throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sanda lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sanda lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Sanda lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Miura has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Sanda is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sanda steps inside.  Sanda pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Miura's body.  
Sanda steps inside.  Sanda sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Sanda gets on the inside and manages to force Miura onto the ropes.  Sanda lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Sanda advances into close range.  Sanda lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Miura dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sanda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Sanda advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
