Nhlakanipho Ekstein vs Blake Nonyane

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing 3.0 promoted show at Pretoria Fikile, Pretoria,  taking place on 01/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nhlakanipho Ekstein (38(21) - 18(15)) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Blake Nonyane(7 - 4 - 4) from Boksburg, South Africa.  Ekstein weighed in at 126 pounds, while Nonyane weighed in at 125 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quoitrel Sotyu, and the three ringside judges are Uba Akamenya, Kofi Magqwaka and John Loulendo.  

Round 1:

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nonyane's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Nonyane's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Nonyane's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ekstein cuts off the ring, trapping Nonyane in a corner.  Ekstein lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Nonyane recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ekstein lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Nonyane is looking to keep his distance.  Ekstein quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid overhand right.  
Ekstein gets on the inside.  Ekstein sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Ekstein gets on the inside and lands a sharp right hook.  
Ekstein manouvers Nonyane onto the ropes.  Ekstein lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Nonyane recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Nonyane is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ekstein feints a left hook, and then lands a firm cross.

Nonyane tries to keep the action at long range.  Ekstein senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Nonyane and just needs the right shot.  Ekstein lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head, AND DROPS NONYANE TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Nonyane is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Ekstein!
