John Walker vs Maro Kaneri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Mike Lovitt Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 01/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Walker (7 - 17(2)) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Maro Kaneri(10 - 5) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Walker weighed in at 140 pounds, while Kaneri weighed in at 139 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is George Addair, and the three ringside judges are George Irihapete, David Darnley and Aika Rako.  

Round 1: 

Kaneri gets on the inside.  Kaneri is on target with a right uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!
