John Thissell vs Jack Cowans

Boxing Daily Report from the Ant promoted show at Cincinnati Schappert, Cincinnati,  taking place on 08/03/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Great Lakes Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Thissell (34 - 5 - 2) who hails from Columbus, USA and Jack Cowans(12 - 6 - 4) from Chicago, USA.  Thissell weighed in at 126 pounds and 12 ounces, while Cowans weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Thissell came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jack Pfluger, and the three ringside judges are Mark Cato, Sam Kalm and Ethan Kuecker.
