John Taggart vs Phil Down

Boxing Daily Report from the Kaamba Promotions promoted show at New Haven Groves, New Haven,  taking place on 05/03/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Taggart (23 - 17(1) - 9) who hails from Syracuse, USA and Phil Down(9 - 3(1)) from Bridgeport, USA.  Taggart weighed in at 130 pounds, while Down weighed in at 129 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andy Swaney, and the three ringside judges are Andy Swaney, Michael Shanks and John Boal.  

Round 1:
