John Ervine vs Jack Pottenger

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kentucky promoted show at Louisville Bruce, Louisville,  taking place on 06/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Ervine (11 - 6 - 6) who hails from Lexington, USA and Jack Pottenger(34(4) - 12(2) - 1) from Louisville, USA.  Both Ervine and Pottenger weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roger Crombie, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Hatt, Mark Coppin and Dave Stark.  

Round 1: 

Pottenger gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Pottenger.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
