Sasha Nabieva vs Dmitri Shostak

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Antioquia promoted show at Estadio Polideportivo Sur Envigado, Medellin,  taking place on 23/03/2041:

Clearly AI Colombia-Antioquia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from IRBF Lightweight Ranking Tournament 2040.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sasha Nabieva (17(13) - 3(2)) who hails from Karagandy, Kazakhstan and Dmitri Shostak(11 - 9 - 4) from Moscow, Russia.  Both Nabieva and Shostak weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Barranco, and the three ringside judges are Alvino Pagan, Ignado Mamon and Ximen Quinones.  

Round 1: 

Nabieva sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Nabieva gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Nabieva slams a nasty left hook into Shostak's body.  SHOSTAK IS HURT!  
Nabieva is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Nabieva slams a hurtful right hook into Shostak's ribs.  SHOSTAK IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.

Nabieva lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Nabieva holds on to his opponent.  Nabieva hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nabieva.

Nabieva pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nabieva is on target with a jab.  Nabieva throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Nabieva is looking to close the distance.  Nabieva voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Shostak is whaling away with hooks, but Nabieva keeps his defence tight.  
Nabieva lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Nabieva is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Nabieva closes the distance and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Nabieva clinches his opponent.  Nabieva leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Nabieva lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Nabieva ties up his opponent.  Nabieva is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shostak sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nabieva drives a left hook into Shostak's body.

Nabieva gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left hook to Shostak's liver.

Nabieva lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Nabieva ties up his opponent.  Nabieva tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shostak behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nabieva about fouling.  Shostak quickly recovers.

Shostak sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nabieva lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Shostak quickly recovers. 
Nabieva is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Shostak's body.  
Nabieva closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Nabieva is on target with a left hook.  
Shostak sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nabieva lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Shostak recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nabieva steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nabieva steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Nabieva sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Nabieva lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands two right hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SHOSTAK IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Nabieva!
