Jose Carolus vs Euan Ross

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at USF Track and Field Stadium, Tampa,  taking place on 06/04/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Carolus (5(1) - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Euan Ross(12 - 26(2) - 4) from Colorado Springs, USA.  Both Carolus and Ross weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Molina, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Kinion, Cole Ghant and Fanuco Onate.  

Round 1: 

Carolus lands a left hook.  
Carolus lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carolus lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Carolus gets on the inside.  Carolus sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Ross is on target with a left hook.  
Carolus advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Carolus holds on to his opponent.  Carolus is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Carolus's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carolus lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Carolus holds on to his opponent.  Carolus uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ross behind the head. As Carolus tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ross dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Carolus advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Ross in the corner.  Carolus connects with a left uppercut.  
Carolus feints a right hook, but Ross ignores the feint and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ross throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Carolus closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Carolus clinches his opponent.  Carolus pushes his forearm into Ross's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Carolus gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Carolus hits home with a left hook.  
Ross tries to step out of his opponents range.  Carolus hits home with a sharp cross.  
Carolus switches the action to the outside and is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Carolus finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Ross tries to step out of his opponents range.  Carolus lands with a ramrod jab.  
Ross lands a jab.  
Ross steps to the outside.  Carolus lands with a ramrod jab.  
Carolus sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Carolus is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Carolus advances into close range and lands a sharp left hook.  
Carolus waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Ross is on target with an overhand right.

Ross steps away from his opponent.  Carolus lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carolus gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ross steps to the outside.  Carolus is on target with a jab.  
Carolus lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ross almost instantly gets his legs back.

Carolus advances into close range and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ross quickly recovers. 
Carolus closes the distance and lands a right hook.

Carolus knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Carolus EXPLODES a spiteful right uppercut into his opponents face.  ROSS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Carolus lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS ROSS TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Carolus!
