Geoff Simiyu vs Aaron Hanes

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Melbourne,  taking place on 27/04/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Geoff The Lion Simiyu (10(7) - 0) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Aaron Hanes(13 - 7(3)) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Simiyu and Hanes weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Yale, and the three ringside judges are James Christou, James Samson and Sean Desmond.  

Round 1: 

Simiyu steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.
