Brett Riddick vs Ian Potts

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Manukau Pihama, Manukau,  taking place on 17/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brett Riddick (44(23) - 15(7) - 3) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Ian Potts(31(21) - 7(6)) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Riddick weighed in at 234 pounds and 8 ounces, while Potts weighed in at 227 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Opi Ngaikiha, and the three ringside judges are Ian Laidler, Hani Rarere and Mark Kinzey.
