Amon Platt vs John Smylie

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Henry Shiel Gym, Calgary,  taking place on 21/03/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amon Platt (4 - 19(1) - 2) who hails from Calgary, Canada and John Smylie(9 - 0) from Calgary, Canada.  Platt weighed in at 118 pounds and 15 ounces, while Smylie weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Kitson, and the three ringside judges are Dale Biggs, Glynn Lyne and John Haddow.
