Okapi Panyin vs Quashawn Faress

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Labi, Accra,  taking place on 26/03/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Okapi Panyin (8 - 21(1)) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Quashawn Faress(5 - 8(1) - 2) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Panyin and Faress weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joe Kessels, and the three ringside judges are Brad Boakye, Nabulung Akoto and David Ampaw.  

Round 1: 

Panyin closes the distance and connects with a left hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Panyin.
